Job description
Job Duties
1. Drives preloaded orders to their destinations
2. Unloads racks and helps customers unload plants
3. Returns empty racks to nursery dock
4. Fills out all company paperwork accurately
5. Follows federal legal driving regulations including the use of ELD.
6. Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers
7. Refuel and clean vehicles
8. Keep an activities log and log hours
9. Plan routes using GPS Systems
10. Record Cargo Deliveries
11. Must keep work site clean and orderly to include semi truck interior
12. Must adhere to all state and local laws and company hand books as designated for CDL truck drivers.
The Employer attests that all workers will be properly trained in the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) by qualified WPS trainers who have completed an EPA-approved Train-the-Trainer course pursuant to the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
The Worker may never ride on agricultural equipment not designed for work related riding purposes or any other non-passenger intended equipment unless instructed and authorized by the employer or supervisor to do so.
All work related injuries must be immediately reported to the crew leader, foreman, or supervisor. Workers compensation claims may be presented to any medical provider, through your employer or state agency if applicable.
Full Growing Season Commitment: The worker agrees to be available for work and perform the assigned work for the assigned employer through the full period of employment in accordance with A.3 and A.4 of the ETA 790.
Light Duty: Workers restricted to light duty work by their physician may be offered light duty jobs in accordance with State Law and/or agency guidance.

Special Requirements

Worker must possess CDL or Federal equivalent.
4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs.
4f) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
4g) May require occasional pulling and/or pushing of tools such as pallet jacks, bungee cords and wheeled carts, wagons and dollies. May require frequent exerting of 50-100 pounds of force to maneuver the wheeled carts to be unloaded. When assistance is needed, our partners are committed to support our drivers.
4h) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time transporting
4i) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing nursery deliveries
4j) There will be repetitive movements while doing deliveries for example unloading racks , plants, loading orders.
