Job description
We need help in the spring, summer and fall seasons. Employees will be doing ground maintenance to keep work site and surrounding area clean, grain transfer, loading and unloading trucks, loading applicators, tender trucks, maintain grain inventory, loading and delivering products specific to location. Employees must follow safety guidelines and safety program established by Frenchman Valley Coop. Prepare dry and liquid fertilizer. document, complete and maintain records on all aspects of operation. Must be able to operate forklifts, loaders and tender trucks. Fill and haul NH3 tanks. Must be able to read blend and field tickets, county road maps and plat maps. Perform required preventative maintenance on equipment, plant or rolling stock. Dump and receive producers' grain. Maintain inventory moistures and temperatures of silos and tanks. Haul and deliver products.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to communicate in English. Must have a Class A CDL with Tanker and Doubles endorsement or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employee may be exposed to extreme cold and hot outside conditions. Employer may conduct post-hire drug testing and criminal background checks at the employer's expense. Require a high school diploma or GED and 3 months experience.
