Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Must be willing to perform manual labor if requested. Drive semi-trucks to elevators or storage areas. Transport seed, fertilizer, water and chemicals.

List of equipment: Newer model Case IH tractors, spray rigs, Great Plains planters, Grain hauling trucks with trailers, Case IH excavator.

Crop List: Corn, Rice, and Soybeans

Special Requirements

Employer requires random drug screening post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of driving heavy equipment and trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Minimum of 3 months experience required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
