Raising newborn calves and cattle. Duties will be assisting with birth deliveries, castrating, tagging, banding, weighing, catching and loading animals. Assist in moving cows between pastures, sort cows and check pastures. Doing record keeping, administering medications, giving vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate. Doing daily duties as well as cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas. Will operate tractors and other farm equipment. Employee will need to assist in putting up hay. Will need to fix fences and complete maintenance on equipment.
Requerimientos
Must have 3 Months experience in Cattle Herding and operating farm equipment. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Job requires working in extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling and walking with repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Employer conducts post-hire random drug tests at employer's expense. We conduct post- hire drug test to enforce a drug-free workplace. All foreign and domestic workers will be tested. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must have a regular drivers' license.
