Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Must be able to perform a variety of duties including harvesting, delivering seed and fertilizer, checking irrigation systems, hooking and unhooking implements, inspecting equipment, mowing, etc. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Determine productivity and performance of various applications of seed, fertilizer and chemicals.

Equipment: Brand new John Deere S780 combines with 40' heads, Brand new John Deere 8370R tractors, Brand new John Deere 9520RX tractor, Nice Peterbilt trucks, TL irrigation center pivots, Zimmatic Irrigation center pivots

Crops: Cotton, Beans, Corn, Milo, Winter Wheat

Requerimientos

Must have a good understanding of precision agriculture. Must be able to work alone or in team environment. Must be able to maneuver around equipment and up ladders. Must be able to work flexible and extended hours during harvesting and planting seasons. Must be able to perform basic problem solving skills in electrical and mechanical areas. Must be able to communicate clearly progress of jobs throughout the day. Must be able to arrive to work on time. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license and non commercial CDL within 30-90 days of hire. Basic literacy and arithmetic required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
