Be able to perform duties on a rice and row crop farm (soybeans and corn). Duties include : drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Operate GPS equipment in farm machinery. Run a self propelled sprayer. Be able to keep records and read farm maps. General lubrication, fuel, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery and implements when needed. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Load grain trucks. Maintenance grain bins and elevator system, as well as load out augers and drive over pits. Clean floors of grain bins, if needed. All aspects of irrigation, including checking and servicing power-units, irrigation pumps, checking fields, levee gates, poly pipe. Knowledge of underground irrigation pipe, pumps, and equipment is a plus. Soil sampling if needed. Power washing machinery, implements and vehicles. Farm shop(s) maintenance.

Requerimientos
Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting and walking. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent stooping. Repetitive movements. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating heavy machinery. Employer requires criminal background check post hire at employer's expense due to expensive tools and equipment and the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience preferred. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience with our company. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
