All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Prepare bees and bee equipment for pollination. Haul bees to and from different orchard and field locations. Isolate and raise queen bees. Feed and medicate bees. Monitor, maintain and increase bee hives. Harvest, extract and package honey. Operate forklift to stack pallets. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season.
Requerimientos
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. Must be able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively. Drivers license in 30 days. Clean driving record required. Due to bee health concerns, tobacco is strictly prohibited from all employer-owned premises. Any violation of company tobacco policies will lead to immediate termination. Drug free work environment. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing may be required at random.
