Job description
Ploughing fields and preparing it for winter crops - rye and wheat
Planting of winter crops - rye and wheat
Maintenance and general assistance with grain bin system
Cleaning of grains with grain cleaner.
Milling and bagging of grains, stacking on pallets.
Maintenance of pivots for freeze damage during winter.
General maintenance of agricultural equipment and farm buildings, repairs of fences.
Corn delivery for nearby feedlot customer.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience.
Most work will be performed outdoors and workers will be exposed to extremely cold temperatures and freezing conditions.
Job duties require physical and manual labor and might require that workers sit, walk, push and pull extensively. Workers must be able to lift equipment, tools and grain bags up to 60 lbs.
Workers must be able to obtain drivers license within 30 - 60 days from hire.
