Farmer Worker, Fence Erector

Job description

Duties include installing farm and ranch fencing. Workers will be required to installing and removing barbed wire fences within the ranch worksite area. The removal process is taking out metal post and removing all damaged barbwire and any debris that is obstructing their path. In the installation process workers will need to prepare acreage in order for new installation process to begin. Most fences will be made up of metal T post, cedar post, pipe, net wire, barbwire.

Workers will be required to transport and use heavy equipment while installing fence. Workers maybe lifting to 40lbs and walk extensively while conducting these tasks. Maybe required to build holding pens needed as holding station, water station for the livestock or building the gates for the fence. Workers may be required to repair equipment, mechanical repairs or maintenance on equipment being used to conduct task . Please note to due extreme heat advisor workers maybe required to take days off to prevent heat exhaustion , in winters months workers maybe required take days off to prevent illness.

Drug screen required post hire at the employer's expense.
