Job description

Determine Moisture and Feed requirements with Grower and follow through with appropriate action to Grower's specifications (mist, fog, hand water or automatic and/or clear water or fertilizer). Participate in the sterilization/sanitation of all greenhouses. Weed management surrounding the greenhouses and coldframes. Application of pesticides to ensure plant quality and health. Practice/ apply all necessary and appropriate safety measures to keep greenhouse safe. Workers will operate equipment, such as but not limited to the use of farm vehicles.

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. One (1) months experience required in farming, greenhouse or general agriculture.

Special Requirements

Exposure to extreme temp, lifting 50 lbs, repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping.
