Job description
Maintain hotel/resort in a clean and orderly manner. Clean guest room accommodations, in-room kitchen, living rooms, bathrooms, conference facilities, halls, and all public area spaces. Remove, sort, fold, carry and replace linens; make beds, replenish supplies. Set up guest room and meeting room furniture, pictures, and amenities according to hotel standards. Mop, vacuum, extract/shampoo carpets, dust, clean/polish mirrors and windows, dispose of refuse.
The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule rotates Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am. Workdays, hours and shift times may vary with occupancy and events.
Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $15.05 per hour.
Special Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to lift equipment, supplies, etc. of at least 30 lbs.
Post-employment criminal background check required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Post-employment and post-injury/incident drug testing, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
