Job description

Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption. Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe, using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers. Clean and organize kitchen, back dock and all associated areas in accordance with standards and expectations. Expected at times to attend and manage buffet stations including but not limited to carving, pasta, omelets, risotto, etc.

The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule rotates Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am. Workdays, hours and shift times may vary with occupancy and events.

Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek.

Special Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Post-employment criminal background check required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Post-employment and post-injury/incident drug testing, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
