Job description
Oversee crew of 3 to 5 Landscape Laborers and perform required duties for lawn maintenance & landscape installation. Monitor that proper equipment and personal safety measures are followed. Inspect and maintain equipment. Coordinate daily crew time-sheets; paperwork. Supervise loading of tools, gas, equipment and stock as needed. Must be able to demonstrate proper use of mowers, line trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers and blowers. Maintain lawns using push or riding mowers, weed trimers and edgers, blowers, etc.; rake and blow leaves; pull weeds; dig trenches using hand tools, skid steer, trencher, backhoe, min-ex, with a max depth/width of 6 in to install sprinkler systems, water meters, and/or plant; install sprinkler systems, plant trees, shrubs, flower beds, metal edging for beds. 6 months experience requred as a crew leader, will also accept 12 months experience as a landscape laborer. Any combination of experience or education is acceptable.Involves loading and unloading tools and supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Involves working outdoors in all types of weather. Involves extensive standing, sitting or walking. Involves frequent stooping or bending. Involves repetitive movements.6 months experience requred as a crew leader, will also accept 12 months experience as a landscape laborer. Any combination of experience or education is acceptable. Post Hire/Employer Paid Drug Test. Post Hire/Employer Paid Background Check. Potential for work vehicle to be provided for use of various workers, if available, valid DL required. Employer may assist workers with finding and/or securing housing. Possibility of performance based raise, bonus, overtime and Saturdays as required. Transportation provided to multiple worksites from central location in Buda, TX. 6 Months 6 months experience required as a crew leader, will also accept 12 months experience as a landscape laborer. Any combination of experience or education is acceptable. Experience Required. 60 minutes of unpaid breaks throughout the day.
