Job description
We need a seasonal employee to assist with our ranch operation. Employees will need to assist with all types of Ranch work including repairing fences. Minor welding (arc), using a cutting torch to repair water well, windmill and fences will be required. Working cattle, riding horses, routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, operating a backhoe and tractor. Duties will include herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading animals. Employees will also need to maintain records on animals, examine animals to detect disease and injuries; assist with birth deliveries. Will need to operate farm pickup truck and tractors and other equipment.
Special Requirements
Require a regular driver's license. Exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 100lb bales. Job requires repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, walking and frequent stooping. Must be able to communicate in English. Require 3 months experience.
