Job description
Operating large farm equipment and machinery, much of which is equipped with GPS such as but not limited to tractor, atv, utv, planter, seeder, skid steer, high loader, rake, baler, mower, sprayer, tillage tool, grain cart, for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops, both dryland and irrigated, such as wheat, hay, soybeans, milo, corn, cotton; assisting with feeding, calving, lifting and tagging newborn calves, processing, weaning, moving, sorting, and selling cattle; operating and maintaining center pivot irrigation systems; build agricultural structures; performing maintenance to farm buildings and equipment; manually greasing, fueling, blowing off machines; moving grain from field to elevator and bins, moving cotton to the gin; transporting supplies and equipment with pickup, truck or trailer; cut, spray, and remove trees; attaching farm implements to tractor; checking fluids; performing all general farming duties as necessary; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
