Job description

Attend to live farm, ranch animals to include: Calve cows and heifers; Feed cattle; Collect data on newborn calves; Track feed usage; Break ice in water tanks; Artificially inseminate heifers; Monitor calf health; Assist with calving mother cows and heifers; Monitor calf health daily; Process calves; Artificially inseminate cows; Sort cows and heifers to be moved to grass; Sort and load livestock; Sort calves to be taken to market and sold; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another manually or using trucks or carts.
