Job description

During the Spring/Summer/Fall season employees will drive application equipment to apply fertilizer to fields. Assist with mixing and spreading of fertilizer and chemical products including but not limited to Anhydrous Ammonia on farm fields. Assist with the loading and unloading of grain. Conduct and help manage inventory. Assist with the operation of the scale to weigh products. Perform routine maintenance and repairs of equipment and vehicles and also groundskeeping. Employees will be required to operate forklifts, scale operations, mowers, augers and front-end loaders and application equipment.

Special Requirements

Must be able to climb to heights of up to 200ft. Job requires repetitive movements, extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, and frequent stooping or bending and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Must possess appropriate driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Employer will conduct post-hire and random drug testing at employer's expense to enforce a drug free workplace. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer may deduct for willful destruction of property. Must have 3 months experience.
