Job description
We need a seasonal employee to assist with our crops (peanuts, corn, wheat, seed wheat, and seed peanuts). Employees will assist with all aspects of farming these crops including equipment operation (late model John Deere tractors), sprayer operation and/or application, shop and mechanical duties including routine repairs and maintenance on the equipment, general equipment repair, work shop duties, preparing equipment for the season, grain storage repair, maintenance and handling, seed preparation for planting, washing and cleaning equipment, general yard maintenance and mowing, general building repair and maintenance, completing general farm duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
Must have working knowledge of John Deere Guidance Systems (GPS). Must have a regular driver's. We conduct post-hire drug testing to enforce a drug free workplace policy at no cost to the employee. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to communicate in English and have 3 months experience.
