Farm Worker

Job description

Duties Include: Employees will transport gains to designated locations with tractors and grain carts for seed cleaning. They will operate seed cleaning machines and conditioning equipment for spring wheat, soybeans, sunflowers, mustard and canola. For the months of November through April bagging of seed will have to be done and stored in warehouses with operating skid steers and fork lifts. Inventory will need to be taken. This will need to be done for resale in the spring. Routine maintenance will need to be done on all equipment, machines, buildings and grounds. This includes snow removal and keeping the loading areas clear of debris. Must be self motivated and work independently after given instructions.

Employees must have a valid, insurable drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only.
NO TEXTING. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours.
No Educational level required. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English for inventory purposes and safety reasons. Must have three months experience with skid steers, fork lifts, tractors with towed grain carts and augers.
