Job description
Farm Mechanic’s Assistant:
Reports to: Shop Manager/Supervisor, Vineyard Managers
Works under the direction of Mechanic and maintenance personnel
Supervises: None
This individual is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and minor repair of tractors, and other farm equipment on the farm.
Basic Job Responsibilities: Basic Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
• Assist in servicing and maintenance of farm equipment and implements
• Perform minor repairs
• Move equipment
• Replacing hydraulic hoses
• Drive forklift
