Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop farming operation where we grow corn, peanuts, and soybeans. Starting February 1 we need employees to assist with hauling 400,000 bushels of grain out of storage in order to prepare our grain bins for the spring planting. All this needs to be completed before we can start spring field prep and planting.

Employees will assist with all aspect of growing these crops including breaking land, planting, irrigation, spraying and mixing chemicals, picking crops, pulling trailers, and hauling crops in semis from fields to storage locations. Employees will need to operate a variety of farm equipment to complete these tasks. Employees will be required to complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and other general farm duties as assigned.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping, repetitive movements, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Must have a regular driver's license and 3 months experience.
