Job description

This is a Joint Order with Lakewood Farms, LLC and Apollo's Praise, LLC.

Pruning grape vines - cutting off excess vine growth of dormant vines
Tying grape vines - fixing vines to wires with twistems and string
Suckering grape vines - removing excess new cane growth from bottom of vine
Shoot positioning - organizing new shoot growth (up or down) on grape vines
Planting grape vines - placing vine in vineyard at a given spot
Fruit removal - removing unripe fruit from plant by hand or with shears
Spot spraying - spraying weeds with herbicide
Post pounding - placing post at a given spot to be pounded in with use of a machine
Wire placement - putting wire in vineyard and stapling wire to post
Stone picking - removing stones from field using hands and a backhoe
Tractor work - driving tractor with attachments( mowers, spot sprayer, etc.)

Special Requirements

Outside work in upstate New York freezing temps and high 80s in summer.
Walking from plant to plant
Sitting on equipment while operating equipment.
Bending over when removing shoots at bottom of grape vine, and tying up young vines.
