Job description

Operate Farm Tractors and equipment to cultivate, plant crops, harvest crops and ground prep.
Operate forklift to load and transport produce bins, pallets of produce.
Hoe, weed, thin, plant crops and clean fields.
Additional duties thru contract period include:
• Hand pick chile peppers or onions
• Drip irrigation install and repair drip lines.
• Assist with crop irrigation.
• Prune pecan trees.
• Wash and clean equipment, vehicles.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate farm vehicles to run errands and pick up farm supplies.
• Spray and apply herbicide and pesticides to crops. Training and personal protective equipment will be provided.
• Light maintenance of equipment including cleaning and lubrication.

Variable weather/crop conditions may apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), with possible downtime and/or extended hours. Employer may request but not require for workers to work on their sabbath. Drug, alcohol, tobacco-free work zone.
