Farm Hand

Job description

Vegetable work comprising of: harvesting vegetables, placing in buckets or boxes, carrying buckets or boxes to turn rows; washing and packing vegetables; cultivating using hoes and by hand; transplanting plants into rows; seeding flats in greenhouse; laying and moving irrigation pipe and drip tape, checking and repairing drip tape and sprinkler pipe; locating and trapping gophers. Must have basic knowledge of hand tools. Must be able to perform tasks efficiently, without close supervision. Must be able to work for long periods bending over, harvesting and transplanting.
