Job description

Employees will operate equipment with towed feeder wagon implements designated for feeding and bedding cattle. They will assist with calving the herd and care for new born. Check pens for water, cleanness and health conditions of the animals. They will grind feed, vaccinate, brand and tag ears of the animals. In the spring of the year the workers will help relocate cow/calf pairs to the pastures with a weekly check to see if any mishaps, health conditions, check fencing and place minerals and salt in tubs. July through August alfalfa, prairie grass, sedan grasses will need to be cut, raked and baled to be used for winter forage for the livestock. In the fall of the year the animals will be relocated back to the farm for the winter months. Routine maintenance will need to be done on machinery, grounds and structures.
Employees must speak, read, write and understand English language for record keeping and safety reasons. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Cell phones are limited to business calls only. No Texting. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours. Must have strong fencing skills
Must have a current drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Workers must have three months tractor driving with computerized monitors experience and cattle experience.
