Farm Equipment Mechanic & Service Technician

Job description

Mechanics must be able to:
• Rebuild a diesel engine, put piston/sleeves/bearings in an engine, replace fuel injectors, diagnose engine problems on semitrucks
and Case IH ag tractors, rebuild heavy duty transmissions on semitrucks
• Preform a complete overhaul on a diesel engine, time diesel engines, change a heavy-duty clutch on a semi-truck
• Work on PTO systems (Power Take Off) systems, planting and tillage equipment, jake breaks
• Harvest preparation includes preparing equipment, trucks, trailers, tractors, harvesters and field equipment

Special Requirements

2) The job opportunity requires 12 months of Agricultural Equipment Maintenance. The job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. The job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligation.
