Job description
Workers will fill flats with soil using hand or gardening tools or by a machine. Transplant, tag product, fertilize and move plants in and out of greenhouses. Load and unload products from a truck or rack inside or outside of greenhouse.. Lay tarps, drip lines and insert drip lines into pot, flats and hanging baskets. Install irrigation system in greenhouse facility. Fix greenhouse equipment and irrigation/water drip lines as needed. Pick, load and pack orders to be shipped out. Clean up and maintain a clean facility inside and outside greenhouse. Cut grass with garden tools or mower, pull weeds inside/outside of greenhouse facility. Hand and gardening tools are used to tack down tarp. Applicants must have 3 months of verifiable previous greenhouse experience.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
