Job description
We farm 3,000 acres of peanuts, 6,000 acres of cotton, and 800 acres of soybeans. Employees must be able to operate tractors, sprayers, and spreaders. Employees will assist with the peanut mill, maintenance and irrigation work, and electrical and field work. Employees will assist with all aspects of these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Haul crops from fields with farm trucks. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial truck driving is required.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license which employee must obtain within the first 30 days of hire.
