Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, drill, trailers to tractor. Tow harvesting equipment. General lubrication, service (check fluids), cleanliness, and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive tractors to haul crops, supplies, and tools. Center pivot irrigation duties like: starting and stopping center pivots, replacing parts and or tires. General maintenance and additional general farm duties.

Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Hay

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
