Job description
Operating large farm equipment and machinery much of which is equipped with GPS such as tractor, tillage tool, planter for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as rice, corn, soybeans.
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems, drain excess water from crops. Driving truck or tractor to move crops or equipment. Minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.
Workers must be able to obtain driver's license 30-90 days from hire.
Most work is performed outdoors and workers will be exposed to harsh conditions, like extreme heat and humidity.
Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and some movements might be repetitive.
Due to operating machinery and farm equipment, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
