Job description

Workers are required to perform the following duties, but are not limited thereto:
Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.
Attach farm implements, such as a planter, disc and drill to a tractor.
Till soil, plant and cultivate grain.
Tow harvesting equipment.
Drive and operate self-propelled combine, swather, baler and rake.
Irrigation of crops.
Maintenance of pivots for irrigation purposes.
Maintenance of machinery and equipment - this includes duties such as lubricating and repairing farm
machinery.
Driving farm feed trucks (light duty truck) to feed correct rations and pounds to individual pens of cattle in CAFO.
Driving farm trucks to haul silage from the field to the CAFO during harvest season.
Driving trucks to haul corn between CAFO's.
Driving of the farm trucks are only on the farm and between the feed yards.
Daily maintenance of trucks - change oil, check water, change filters.
Processing, doctoring and handling of cattle in CAFO.

Special Requirements

Minimum of three months verifiable experience.
No minimum experience required.
Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60 lbs.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
