Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Perform duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery, such as a grain cart, disc etc. Experience running a planter, sprayer, and combine is preferred but am willing to train. Employee must be able to tow harvesting equipment and trailers. A strong mechanical background in general farm machinery maintenance. General seasonal farm duties as assigned. Drive Trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.

Crops: Barley, Canola, Corn, Durum, Soybeans, Sunflower, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
