Job description

We need help in the spring, summer and fall seasons. Employees will be doing ground maintenance to keep work side and surrounding area clean, grain transfer, loading and unloading trucks, loading applicators, tender trucks, maintain grain inventory, loading and delivering products to farms. Employees must follow safety guidelines and safety program established by CPI. Prepare dry and liquid fertilizer for delivery to farms, document, complete and maintain records on all aspects of operation. Must be able to operate forklifts, loaders and tender trucks. Will fill NH3 tanks if necessary. Must be able to read blend and field tickets, county road maps and plat maps. Perform required preventative maintenance on equipment, plant or rolling stock. Dump and receive farmer’s grain. Maintain inventory moistures and temperatures of silos and tanks. Haul and deliver products to customers farms.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, and frequent stooping. Must be able to communicate English. Must be able to exert 50 to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and climb to heights of up to 200ft. Employee may be exposed to extreme cold and hot outside conditions. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Require 3 months experience.
