Job description
Workers are required to perform the following duties, but are not limited thereto:
Workers will be required to operate hay equipment for swathing, raking and bailing hay.
Install and maintain irrigation systems and water lines.
Move and install irrigation pipes and equipment.
Monitor irrigation of crops.
General maintenance of machinery and equipment - this includes duties such as lubricating and repairing farm machinery.
Cleaning of machinery and equipment.
Special Requirements
Minimum of three (3) months verifiable experience. No minimum education is required. Workers must be able to operate hay equipment for swathing, raking and bailing hay. Workers to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Work is done outdoors for long periods of time and requires prolonged periods of standing and/or walking, repetitive movements, and frequent bending and/or stooping. Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 65 lbs. As work is mostly done outdoors, workers will be exposed to warm and hot temperatures.
