Job description
We need seasonal employees to operate tractors, planters, sprayers and other farm equipment to plow, spray, hoe fields of cotton, corn, wheat and milo. Employees will also need to operate cotton strippers to harvest cotton. Employees will need to do general farm duties and do routine maintenance on equipment. Operate forklift and telehandler. Diagnose, service and repair irrigation systems. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contractor period and/or pay increases for longevity or experience at the employer's discretion.
Special Requirements
Must be able to communicate in English to understand manuals and instructions. Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, frequent stooping, exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs of equipment. Employer will conduct post-hire drug testing and post-hire background checks at employers expense. We conduct drug testing to enforce a drug free workplace, failing a drug test will result in termination. No person with a violent or theft criminal background will be hired. Must have a valid driver's license and 3 months experience.
