Job description
A farm laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the cultivation of crops and overall farm maintenance. This role requires physical strength, stamina, and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Farm laborer's key responsibilities include crop cultivation. Crop cultivation is planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules. Operate and maintain farm machinery, such as tractors, plows, and harvesters, and apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed.
Farm laborers also conduct general farm maintenance including repairing and maintaining farm structures, fences, and equipment.
Clear fields prepare them for planting and perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Irrigation is another key responsibility of a farm laborer. Irrigation includes monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems and ensuring proper water supply for crops. Also, the laborers are responsible for weed and pest control by identifying and controlling weeds in crop fields, and monitoring and controlling pests to protect crops.
Once the corn, soybean, wheat, cotton, and sorghum have grown farm laborers begin the harvesting processes. Which is handpicked or used machinery to harvest corn, soybean, wheat, cotton, and sorghum. Sort and pack harvested produce for transport. The laborers also have some record-keeping duties such as maintaining accurate records of daily activities, including planting dates, harvest yields, and equipment maintenance.

Workers must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 50 lbs
