Job description

Harvesting Pumpkins - Disc fields with tractor, row fields with tractor, lay out weed net on fields, plant seeds, snip pumpkins from vine, deposit them in a wheel barrel, move wheel barrel to a truck to be located at the edge of the field, throw pumpkins to the person on the truck (30%) Work performance standards will yield 1500-2000 pumpkins per season (Sept. - Oct.) No training provided, 3 months of harvesting agricultural crop, tractor operation experience, driver's license required (foreign/domestic) Minimal supervision, tools, and equipment required: snippers

Harvesting Crawfish - Place traps in pond w/ boat, place bait in traps, remove crawfish from traps w/ boat, deposit them in a 50 gallon bucket, move bucket to a truck located at the edge of the pond, hand bucket to the person in the truck (30%) Worker performance standards will yield 6000-9000 lbs. per season (Feb. - May) No training provided, 3 months of harvesting agricultural crop & boat operation experience, driver's license required (foreign/domestic) Direct Supervision, Tools and Equipment required: knee boots

Harvesting Hay - Cut fields w/ tractor, rake fields w/ tractor, bale fields w/ tractor, collect hay in a trailer pulled by farm vehicle, remove hay from trailer & place into a barn (20%) Worker performance standards yield 500-1000 bales per season (May - Nov.) No training. 3 months of harvesting agricultural crop & tractor operation experience. Driver's license required (Foreign/Domestic) Direct Supervision. Tools & Equipment required: None

Harvesting Tomatoes - Disc fields w/ tractor, row fields w/ tractor, lay out weed net on fields, plant tomato plant, detach tomatoes from plants & deposit them into a wheel barrel, move wheel barrel to a truck to be located at the edge of the field, unload wheel barrel into truck. Work performance standards will yield 3000-5000 tomatoes per season (May-July) No training. 3 months of harvesting agricultural crop and tractor operation experience. Driver's license required (foreign/domestic) Minimal Supervision. Tools and Equipment required: snippers
