Job description

Agricultural Equipment operation: Worker will operate tractors, forklift, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery for land preparation, maintenance, and cultivation, including to plow, harrow and fertilize soil and plants, and to plant, cultivate, harvest and spray. Worker will operate equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors and implements. Worker will manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Worker will attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Worker will load containers and products using forklifts. Worker will operate grading and digging equipment. Worker will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting repair on equipment. Workers with proper licenses will use company vehicles to transport employers’ crops, tools and fellow workers. Workers will operate vehicles on public roads.

Special Requirements

3 Months experience operating 50+ HP Farm equipment. Applicants must be able to furnish affirmative job references from recent employers operating comparable operations establishing acceptable previous experience. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Must be able to work in the hot humid weather for extended periods of time. Workers are subject to random drug testing at no cost to the employee. All drug testing will occur after the worker begins his or her employment and is not a part of the interview process. Failing or refusing a drug test will result in immediate termination.
