General Farm Worker

Job description

The Employees will operate tractors with feeder wagons equipped with computerized scale monitors to feed livestock daily. Employees will administer vaccines and pour on for routine care of the animals, operate vehicles / tractors designated for towing equipment such as feed carts, trailers and flatbeds. Fixing and mending existing fences. Repairs of the corals, structures and grounds will have to be done including snow removal. Each pen will have to be checked for minerals, water and health of the animals. Corn and feed will need to be ground as well as straw and hay for mixing with feed for the livestock. Must be able to work independently after given instructions, have a good attitude and be a team player.

Employees must have a valid drivers license or capable of obtaining one within 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only. NO TEXTING, No smoking, drugs, or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours.
No Educational level required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have 3 months of tractor driving with towing feeder wagon equipped with computerized monitors.

Special Requirements

Must have current driver's license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able speak, read, write and understand English language for record keeping and safety reasons.

Workers must have three months tractor driving with computerized monitors experience and
cattle experience.
