Job description

We have crops consisting of corn, soybeans and alfalfa. Also have 300 mom cows that we calve and feed out. Calving period typically runs from April through August. With cattle, the employee will assist with calving, vaccinations, and moving to pasture during the calving season. Employee will assist with fixing fence, mowing, harvesting, bailing hay, field cultivating, hauling grain, and operating a tractor and other farm equipment related to the crop production. Employee will complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 1 month experience.
