Job description

This job consists of driving agricultural equipment and/or delivering products to field in support
for the agricultural equipment operator both done on a farm for a farmer. Mix specified
materials or chemicals, and dump solutions into agricultural equipment. Fill tanks with water,
chemicals, and fertilizer according to formulas and take the tanks to the farm sites. Operate
machines such as agricultural sprayers or fertilizer spreaders to fertilize and spray crops. Apply
crop nutrient or crop protection products to control insects, fungus, weed growth, and diseases,
to assist in the cultivation of agricultural commodities using agricultural equipment. Spread dry
fertilizer using gps enabled agricultural equipment. Manipulate controls, nozzles, hoses, and
tubes to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery to direct product over designated
areas. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery
malfunctions. Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program,
OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Certified license is required. Must be able to obtain a
driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will
be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is
required. Extensive walking is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Employer requires
drug screen and background check post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment and children present on the farm.
