General Farm Worker

Job description

Workers will help with grinding and mixing feeds for a swine production to feed daily. They will help with breeding sows and assisting during farrowing and helping baby pigs survive birth. Other duties that will need to be done are notches placed in ears, vaccinates, flushes hog wastes into holding pits; repairs and maintenance on machinery, plumbing and finishing buildings. Routine maintenance will need to be done on vehicles and
equipment used. Should be a team player with a positive attitude
Employer may offer a higher wage base on experience, or other factors such as job performance, skill, punctuality and or merit.

Must be able to work unsupervised after given instructions.
Workers will need to have three months experience with swine production.
Capable of reading and comprehending English for safety reasons.
No education level required.
Cell phone usage is to be with business calls of the operation and no texting.
Must be able to standing for log periods of time, walking, physical work .
No smoking in / on any property of the employer.
