Job description
Job duties include but is not limited to:
Row crop and dry land farming.
Drive and operate machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops.
Till soil, rock picking, plant and cultivate grain.
Attach farm equipment to tractor, trucks and combines.
Assist with irrigation of crops and drain excess water from crops.
General manual labor for farm operation - carry bags of grain, load and unload trucks.
General equipment maintenance.
Equipment is modern John Deere with auto steer.
Crops: wheat, milo, sunflowers and corn
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience.
Most work is performed outside and workers will be exposed to hot temperatures and humid conditions.
Job duties require intense physical labor and will involve extensive pushing, pulling, sitting and walking, frequent stooping or bending over. Work duties include lifting of agricultural tools, equipment, bags of grains that weigh up to 75 lbs.
Workers must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire.
