Job description
We grow 3,000 acres of cotton, corn, milo and pumpkins. We are 75% irrigation utilizing pivot irrigation, drip irrigation and also flood irrigation. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to be proficient with operating large agricultural machinery such as tractors and self propelled equipment. They will need to fix and maintain irrigation systems by replacing gearbox’s and driveline systems on pivots and able to fix subsurface (drip) irrigation leaks. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, sitting, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
