Open Range, Livestock Worker

Job description

Workers will attend livestock primarily on the range; feed and water them; herd livestock to pasture for grazing; examines animals to detect diseases and injuries; assist with the vaccination of livestock by herding into corral and/or stall or manually restraining animals on the range; apply medication to cuts or bruises; spray livestock; brand animals; moving livestock from corrals to the range; may assist with irrigating, planting, cultivating and harvesting hay. Workers will be provided either sufficient meals a day, or free and convenient cooking facilities and adequate provision of food to enable the worker to prepare their own meals without charge or deposit charge. The Employer will provide to the employees without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required by law.
