Job description

Vegetable crops: tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, melons and small quantities of other specialty vegetables.
Greenhouse: vegetable and flower transplants, flower pots and hanging baskets.

Use manual and powered equipment to plant, transplant, maintain (clean and cultivate , harvest , and pack) vegetable and greenhouse crops. Maintain fences, equipment, and irrigation. Clean up.
Equipment operated: Farm tractor, rototiller, mower, trucks, forklift, skid steer, soil blender and sterilizer. Workers will comply with procedures for power equipment safety as instructed and follow other instructions of supervisor. Workers will follow rules that assure site safety as instructed. Tools paid for by employer;.

Special Requirements

Drug testing will be post hire at employer expense if there is an accident or unusual behavior.
