Job description
General farm labor, including but not limited to cutting, raking, and bailing hay crops. Drive, maintain, and service farm equipment. Attach all farm implements to tractors using bolts and hand tools. Drive trucks to haul hay crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers, and notify supervisor when machinery malfunctions. Calving duties include checking on cows daily, tagging cows, moving cows from fields, and feeding, providing water, and assisting with medication. Workers may receive salary increases and bonuses based on merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Must be able to use tractors, cutters, rakes, balers, hay spears, front-end loaders, cow shoots, and basic hand tools.
