Job description
Plant, transplant, weed, hoe, and harvest vegetable crops. Transport field containers using wagons or farm trucks.
Wash, store, ready produce for market. Must use extreme care to not damage produce. May operate farm tractor, post hold digger, and other farm equipment. Lay plastic mulch, drip irrigation, and stake various crops. Clear fields of stakes, mulch, and crop debris at end of season. May perform other miscellaneous farm duties, i.e. harvest/rake hay, dig ditches, care/feed farm animals. Maintain fence, mow, weed eat, maintain farm grounds. Crops: asparagus, sweetcorn, tomatoes, peppers, okra, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, squash, melons, peas, beans
