Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Operate various farm equipment (combines, tractors, trucks, grain carts, etc.) for planting, tilling, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting of crops. Maintain/repair machinery, wash and detail machinery. Ground maintenance on farm and/or housing i.e. weed eating, mowing. Mow road ditches and grain bin sites. Field operations including chisel plowing, operating a tractor with grain cart. Load/unload trucks. Maintain/clean shop area. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Crops: corn, soybeans, hay

30 minute lunch break offered

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license. Ability to obtain J51 within 30 days. Employment reference. Experience driving tractor and grain cart. Must have a current US Social Security number. 3 months experience working on a farm in the US. No use of illicit drugs or narcotics. At the sole discretion of the employer, workers may be required to submit to a post hire drug test, paid by the employer. Positive results or refusal to take the test may result in immediate termination.
