Job description
We are a family run farming operation located in Central South Dakota seeking a General Farm Laborer. Employee will be working right alongside the owners, completing everyday tasks on the farm. Employee will assist with planting crops; spraying crops; harvesting crops; trucking our crops to storage and market; sweeping and scooping grain in grain bins; repairing fence; and haying. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will also need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Crops: Corn, Wheat, Sunflowers, Milo and Forage for Hay. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
